Thank you to everyone who supported our raffle.

Less than one week to go for our major cash raffle!

The It’s Carnival Time raffle is running once more, with a total prize pool of $6,000 up for grabs!

• First prize $3,000
• Second prize $2,000
• Third prize $1,000

Tickets are only $10 each, and the odds are pretty good

We will be sure to issue you with your raffle tickets to the email provided.

Help us to reach our goal of 1,400 tickets sold by sharing the link with friends, or hanging up a poster in your workplace, gym, or anywhere with people! All funds raised go towards supporting female participation in the thoroughbred racing industry in the Northern Territory. The donations, sponsorships, and prizes we give out are all thanks to your generosity in supporting this annual raffle.

Women in Thoroughbred Racing NT are delighted to announce the return of the Spring Fling, set to take place on Saturday 18 October 2025, to coincide with The Everest and Caulfield Cup Day.

Join us in the Darwin Turf Club Corporate Boxes for an afternoon of racing and celebration, featuring a three-hour drinks package including Jansz, gourmet canapés, and exceptional company. Guests will enjoy live coverage of both the Caulfield Cup and The Everest, alongside local racing throughout the day.

The event also includes our popular Punters Club, and a Fashions on the Field competition with prizes awarded to best dressed and those who up for the test of their tipping skills.

Tickets are priced at $155 per person for members and $165 for non-members, tickets are limited. Early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.

Women in Thoroughbred Racing NT is excited to celebrate another year of It’s Carnival Time!

Get the ladies (and lads!) together for another fabulous afternoon as we celebrate the successes of women in racing.

Venue: Mindil Beach Casino Resort Ballroom

Time: 12 – 4pm

Tickets: $225 members | $245non-members

Includes: a welcome reception of Jansz, plus a three-course luncheon and 4 hour premium beverage package. There will also be some amazing lucky door prizes up for grabs on the day, and of course plenty of racing chat with our two feature guest speakers, South Australian pocket rocket Rochelle Milnes, and Territory talent, Sonja Logan.

Women in Thoroughbred Racing NT invite our members to our Annual General Meeting. Have a glass of Jansz on us, and enjoy some finger food while we wrap up 2024.

Pursuant to Clause 30 of the Constitution eight of the current Committee are not required to stand for re-election, therefore nominations are being sought for at least two additional Committee members.

The Committee are seeking interest to fill the roles of Treasurer, Secretary, and General Member(s), with a keen focus on members with a background in marketing and engagement, and those willing to donate time to committee operations.

The AGM will start promptly at 3:15pm, with registrations welcome from 3:00pm. 

We had a wonderful year of growth in 2024, and look forward to another exciting year ahead in 2025.

It’s time to celebrate the end of year at our annual WTRNT Christmas Party!

This year we’re taking our festivities to The Trader Bar for canapes, a glass of Jansz on arrival, a lucky door prize raffle, Christmas games, and the usual Christmas cheer.

Join us for a magical evening under the stars on Saturday 29 June, to herald the commencement of the 2024 Darwin Cup Carnival!

At the culmination of the days racing, members and guest are invited to join us at Wharf One Food & Wine for an evening of socialising and celebrating as we fast approach the peak of the dry and our favourite time of year.

Tickets are $50 for members and $60 for non-members, which includes transport from the Darwin Turf Club to the Darwin Waterfront Precinct, a glass of Jansz on arrival and one hour of canapés.

As we enter into our first General Meeting under the new constitution, all positions on the committee are declared vacant. Committee Members will be elected for a term of three (3) years subject to early retirement or removal, and members may serve consecutive terms.

The Committee are seeking interest to fill the roles of Treasurer, Secretary, and General Member(s), with a keen focus on members with a background in marketing and engagement, and those willing to donate time to committee operations.

We are also looking to establish a sub-committee of members who are willing to provide a helping hand at events, but aren’t ready to commit to a full-time role on the commitee. If you think this sounds like you, please reach out via email or in person to any current committee member.
